The Opening Night Gala Celebration is our premier scholarship fundraising activity. This is an idea borrowed from the Haus and Garten Tour in German Village, Columbus, Ohio, where several devoted Floral Park residents relocated for work. Typically held during a weekend night before the spring Home & Garden Tour, this evening features premium wines, craft beer and cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, food, entertainment, and a silent auction.
In 2019, nearly 100 attendees enjoyed the Opening Night Gala Celebration. Silent auction items, whose proceeds directly benefited scholarships to local high school and Santa Ana College students, included a catered corporate lunch, Angels baseball tickets, gift certificates, a Newport Harbor cruise, and premium wine baskets. Donations for the silent auction are always needed. Please contact us for further information.
